Northwest’s Child provides comprehensive services for children, teenagers, and young adults aged 5 to 21 with moderate to severe disabilities.
As a year-round day program, we extend our services beyond regular school hours until 6:00pm during the school year. When school is not in session due to no-school days, holidays, spring break, and summer vacation, Northwest’s Child operates from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
Located at Maplewood Presbyterian Church, Northwest’s Child Edmonds offers exceptional facilities for our program. Our spacious setting includes a large room and a fenced-in playground, providing ample space for our activities. The open classroom design enhances visibility and mobility, promoting an optimal learning environment. Situated in a wonderful neighborhood, we take advantage of the surroundings, often enjoying long walks.
At Northwest’s Child Edmonds, we take pride in our diverse group of students, encompassing a wide range of disabilities, needs, and interests. We actively engage with the community whenever possible, ensuring that our students have valuable opportunities to connect and interact with others. Our primary goal is to promote independence, nurture social skills, and foster meaningful relationships with fellow students and staff. By doing so, we aim to facilitate a seamless transition into adulthood for our students.
